Shiva… Born in a simple family. The hopes of his mother and father were his strength. That was the day he had completed police training through hard work and waiting for the results. That morning, a post arrived at Shiva’s house. Shiva opened the letter and read it. “Congrats Shiva… You are selected for Police Service.” At that moment, Shiva was speechless. His eyes filled with tears. “What happened, son?” his mother asked. “I got selected for the police job” Shiva said. Joy overflowed in his mother’s eyes. His father said with pride “Work with righteousness, son. That is all we wish for.” In Shiva’s heart, there was only one thought This is the beginning of my life. But he did not know…This was not just the beginning of his life, It was the beginning of a story. Filled with happiness after getting the police job, Shiva set out for a Kedarnath darshan. Snow-covered mountains…Peaks touching the sky…  Chanting Lord Shiva’s name in the wind. In every step, an unknown attraction pulled...

శివ… సాధారణ కుటుంబంలో పుట్టిన అబ్బాయి. అమ్మ నాన్నల ఆశలే అతని బలం. తన కష్టంతో పోలీస్ ట్రైనింగ్ పూర్తి చేసి ఫలితాల కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్న రోజు అది. ఆ ఉదయం శివ ఇంటికి ఒక పోస్ట్ వచ్చింది. శివ లెటర్ ఓపెన్ చేసి చూసాడు. "కాంగ్రాట్స్ శివ… యూ ఆర్ సెలెక్టెడ్ ఫర్ పోలీస్ సర్వీస్" అని ఆ లెటర్ లో ఉంది. ఆ క్షణంలో శివ కి మాట రాలేదు. కళ్ళలో నీళ్లు తిరిగాయి. "ఏమైంది రా?" అని అమ్మ అడిగింది. "అమ్మ… నేను పోలీసు ఉద్యోగం కి సెలెక్ట్ అయ్యాను" అని శివ చెప్పగానే, అమ్మ కళ్ళలో ఆనందం పొంగింది. నాన్న గర్వంగా అన్నాడు "ధర్మంగా పని చెయ్ నాన్న. అదే మా కోరిక" అని. శివ మనసులో ఒక్కటే మాట, "ఇది నా జీవితానికి ఆరంభం". కాని అతనికి తెలియదు… ఇది అతని జీవితానికి కాదు, ఒక కథకి ఆరంభం అని. పోలీస్ జాబ్ వచ్చిన ఆనందం లో శివ కేదార్ నాథ్ దర్శనం కి బయలుదేరుతాడు. మంచు కొండలు… ఆకాశాన్ని తాకే శిఖరాలు… హిమగాలిలో శివ నామస్మరణ. ప్రతి అడుగులో ఏదో తెలియని ఆకర్షణ శివని ముందుకు నడిపింది. యాత్ర మధ్యలో ఒక చోట శివ ఆగాడు. రోడ్డు పక్కన ఏడుస్తున్న ఓ చిన్న పాప ని చూసాడు. చుట్టూ ఎవరు లేరు. చలితో వణుకుతూ ఉంది...
