Mother: Surya, today is your first day at the job, right? Wake up early, get ready. We must go to the temple first.
After a while, Surya got ready.

After that, Mother and Surya went to the temple.
At the temple:
Mother: Son, you go inside. I’ll bring flowers and coconut.
Surya: I’ll also come, Mom.
As they were walking toward a nearby puja store, suddenly a madman appeared in front of them shouting— “Be careful, boy! Be careful! Mother, take care of your son!”
Mother was shocked for a moment. But the shop owner nearby said, “Madam, he’s just a madman. For money, he keeps saying such things. Don’t bother. You buy flowers and coconut and offer them in the temple.”
Still, fear didn’t leave mother heart. When they entered inside the temple, she explained the incident to the priest.
Priest: Lakshmi garu, don’t worry. I’ll check your boy’s horoscope and call you. I’ll tell you what to do. Place these flowers and coconut here. I’ll perform the archana (pooja) in both your names. Everything will go well.
After leaving mother back home, Surya left for his first day at work.
In the office:
A new world stood before him… new hopes, new faces. As he was looking around, he met two new colleagues 'Rahul' and 'Saranyu'. A friendship began with them.
Thus, a week passed.
Saranyu has a hobby of reading books. One day, the three of them went together to the city library.
At the library:
Rahul: Oh no! Seeing all these books here itself is scary.
Saranyu(teasingly): If you’re scared of books, how you studied engineering.
They laughed as they searched through the books near a shelf. Just then, a thorn pricked Surya, blood oozed out, and a few drops fell on one book. Suddenly, that book glowed, and from inside the book came an old paper.
Surya (surprised): What is this?.. looks like a paper.
Saranyu, curious, came closer and asked - “What are you looking at, Surya?”
Surya unfolded the paper. Inside it was written as “You are in danger… Be careful.”
Saranyu took the paper into her hands. But when she looked, the words had changed as “Your wish will soon come true.”
Surya again looked at the paper but within moments, it got disappeared. Suddenly, the bookshelf beside them collapsed, about to fall on Surya. Luckily, Rahul pulled him aside just in time.
Surya was confused. He opened the book again. This time, another paper appeared. On paper it was written as “Since you escaped this time… the coming days will be full of wonders and surprises.”
Later they kept book in the shelf and went back to their home.
That night, Surya couldn’t sleep. The words he saw in that book haunted him.
“Is this real? Just coincidence? Or is someone following me?” with such thoughts, he spent the night staring at the clock.
Next day:
At office, Surya saw the same anxiety in Rahul and Saranyu’s eyes. Especially Saranyu, she couldn’t stop thinking about the words she had seen on that paper.
Surya and Saranyu went back to the library. They searched for the same book on the shelf but it was gone.
Saranyu: Did someone hide it? Or is it a magical book?
Just then, an old man inside the library came near, watching them carefully and said “You should not have touched that book. Now, a shadow has fallen upon you.” Saying this, he walked away.
Surya and Saranyu silently stared at each other.
That night:
Suddenly, lights went off in Surya’s house. While mother was in the kitchen, Surya felt a cold breeze in his room. On the table, the book appeared again. As he went closer, the pages started turning on their own. Finally, one line appeared“The one who protects you is right beside you… someone close to you.”
Surya’s heart raced. Just then, his phone rang. It was Rahul.
Rahul: “Surya! Come to the library immediately. We found something… it seems something connected to you.”
Without telling his mother, Surya took the book and left the house.
At the library (in darkness):
Rahul and Saranyu were waiting. Seeing them, Surya asked “What happened?”
Saranyu: I got scared, Surya. To know what’s really happening, Rahul and I came here. And we found a photo.
Saranyu showed him a photo “Surya, this photo was hidden behind the bookshelf. Look…”
Surya saw it. It was his photo but dressed like a king.
Surya was shocked “How is this possible?”
The old photo raised countless questions in his mind. “Whose photo is this? Why does he look just like me?”
Rahul and Saranyu were equally shocked. Just then, a laugh echoed in the library. The three turned back and saw someone standing there. Footsteps slowly approached. An old man stepped into the light, his eyes glowing strangely.
Then old man started speaking:
Old man: Surya… all these questions will give answers to your life. But… can you bear to hear them?”
Surya: Tell me who that person is. What is this all about?
The old man slowly pointed at the photo “The person in this photo is you. There is a secret you don’t know. Your family is under a curse.”
Surya’s heart nearly stopped.
Surya: What… a curse?
The old man showed the book “This is not a ordinary book. It’s the path to free your family from the curse. The one whose blood falls upon it from that cursed lineage(cursed family person)… only then the truth will appear, and the way to liberation will open.”
Surya was stunned “Does that mean… my family is cursed? Is there no way to escape it?” he asked.
The old man smiled slowly “There is… but it is not easy. Among those beside you, one will be your protector.”
With those words, the old man stepped back into darkness and disappeared.
The three froze. One thought echoed in Surya’s mind “Who is that protector?”
That night at Surya’s house:
Surya and Saranyu opened the book again. This time, it read “The root of this curse lies in marriage… and the solution will also come through marriage”.
Surya’s confusion deepened -“Marriage? Whose marriage?”
Then Saranyu came closer and said “Surya, if this curse is yours, why I can see those lines on paper? I feel I have a connection with this book. Give it to me once.”
Surya, surprised and he handed it over the book to Saranyu. As Saranyu looked into it, suddenly the pages scattered, revealing some papers. Inside there was a story…
Flashback – Decades ago:
A girl named Chhaya lost her mother in childhood. Her father was her whole world and he is a scientist, who often roamed forests for research.
One day, while she was with her father in the forest, they found a fainted wizard (black magician/tantrik man). Out of kindness, her father rescued him. When the wizard opened his eyes, he said “If you ever need any help, come to me. I’ll stand by you.”
But one of the the villagers misunderstood this incident and he spread rumours in village that “Chhaya’s father is a black magician.”
This words reached to Raja Bhoopathi (ancestor of Surya’s family, looking just like Surya). In anger, he ordered “Chhaya’s father is a wizard (black magician/tantrik man), he is danger to this village. Kill him.”
Thus, Chhaya’s father was killed.
Chhaya became orphaned, burned with rage against Bhoopathi’s family. Her heart filled with revenge, with tears dried, she went to the wizard (black magician/tantrik man) who stays in forest.
Chhaya: The family that made me an orphan… Bhoopathi’s family must become orphans too. Their lineage must end. Curse them!
The wizard (black magician/tantrik man) consoled her -“I understand your pain, child. But don’t wish destruction out of anger. One day, through you, Bhoopathi’s family will find happiness. Only then your suffering, pain will end. If there is a curse, there must also be redemption.”
Wizard (black magician/tantrik man):
With his hands, he created a magical book tied to a curse and said like this -
“Chhaya, this book is created with your emotions. When the time is right, it will reach the right people and come alive again. You will also be reborn after some decades. You will marry someone from the Bhoopati s family. The child born to you will be your father’s reincarnation. Only then the curse will end. At the right time, I will give this book to the right person.”
Still, Chhaya’s was sad and taught about “When will that day come?”
Later Chayya left the place.
Present:
After reading, Saranyu’s eyes filled with tears.
Saranyu: “Surya… now I understand everything. That day in the library, why did I see the words "Your wish will soon come true?". At that time, I didn’t know its meaning. But now, after reading this story, I do.

Since then, she searched for him, even on social media. Finally, on LinkedIn, she found Surya’s post: "Attended my first interview and got selected in the biggest MNC company.”
Her heart filled with joy. She felt fate had given her another chance. She applied to the same company for a job and got selected. That’s how Surya and Saranyu met in the same office.
Climax:
Surya told everything to his mother. She couldn’t stop her tears.
Mother: I raised you without letting you feel your father’s absence. But today, I realize how heavy the past of our family has been on you. I won’t let you bear that burden. If this marriage will wipe away the curse, then go ahead with it.
After 2 months, In the presence of all family members, Surya and Saranyu got married. In that moment, the book glowed and turned to ashes. The curse was broken. Surya’s heart felt light.
“So far, only warnings and fears… but in the end, love itself defeated the curse.”
One thought remained in Surya’s heart “The mistakes of the past cannot be corrected by revenge… it can be corrected only by love. Love’s power can even destroy curses..”
Hand in hand, with love and happiness, Surya and Saranyu began a new life.
After 1 year, Surya and Saranyu blessed with a baby boy, they lived happily ever.
