ఆది వర్ష కాలం, వర్షం రాలుతున్న శబ్దం పట్టణమంతా ఒక మెలోడీలా వినిపిస్తోంది. రైల్వే స్టేషన్లో ఎక్కడ చూసినా వర్షపు చినుకులు కురుస్తున్నయి, అల వర్షపు నీరు పడి వస్తున్న మట్టి వాసన చాలా బాగుంది. అప్పుడే అక్కడికి రైలు వచ్చింది. జాగ్రతగా అడుగులు వేస్తు జానాలు రైలు ఎక్కుతున్నారు. అదే సమయంలో స్టేషన్ బయట నుండి రూప వేగంగా స్టేషన్ లోపలికి పరిగేతుకుంటు వచ్చింది. రైల్ లో కి వెళ్లి బుక్ చేసుకున్న సీట్ ఎక్కడ అని చూస్తుంది. అదే భోగి లో ఒక చేతిలో టీ కప్పు, మరో చేతిలో “ప్రేమ నవల” అనే పుస్తకం చదువుతున్నాడు సాయి . ఎదురుగా వస్తున్న వ్యక్తి ని రూప చూడలేదు ఆ వ్యక్తి కి రూప డికొని పడబోతుంటే సాయి తనని కింద పడకుండా పట్టుకుంటడు. ఇద్దరి కళ్ళు కలిశాయి. ఒక క్షణం పాటు మాటలు ఆగిపోయాయి. ఆ కళ్ళలోని కాంతి ఇద్దరికీ ఒక వింత పరిచయంగా అనిపించింది. రైలు హారన్ వినిపించగానే, వాతావరణం మెల్లిగా మళ్ళీ సాధారణమైంది. సాయి : “అరె! జాగ్రత్త… చుసుకోవాలి కద అని రూప తో అంటాడు.” రూప :“థ్యాంక్యూ… సీట్ కోసం చూస్తు ఎదురుగా వస్తున్న వారిని చూడలేదు.” ఎవరి సీట్లలో వాళ్ళు కూర్చున్నారు సాయి ఇంకా రూప ఒకరినిఒకారు పరిచయం చేసుకున్నారు. సాయి సైగలతో టీ...
