I am always be with you forever
One day, due to over time at the office, Karna leaves for home late. it’s already 9 PM. He waits at the bus stop, but when no bus arrives, he decides to walk home. Suddenly, a girl on a scooter stops in front of him.
Karna: "Who are you? Why did you stop in front of me?"
Girl: "I’ve been noticing you waiting for a while. It looks like you're waiting for a bus. Tell me where you're going, I’ll drop you off."
Karna: "You don’t know me, and I don’t know you. Still, thanks for offering a ride, but I’ll walk. I’m used to it."
Girl: "It’s already 9 PM. Who knows if a bus will even come?
I guess you walk home every day that’s probably why you’re so thin. No worries, I’ll drop you off today. Don’t be afraid; I’m a good girl. I just came because I saw you alone."
Karna thinks for a moment and decides to go with her, reasoning it’s just for one day.
On the way, the girl asks Karna, “What’s your name? Where do you work?”
Karna: "My name is Karna. I work in a finance company, been there for two years."
Girl: "Don’t you have a bike? Do you always travel by bus?"
Karna: "There’s only one bike at home. My father uses it for his work. So, I usually take the bus unless I have something urgent."
Girl: "Looks like you’ve gotten used to adjusting."
Karna: "That’s life, isn’t it? It’s all about adjusting. Please stop here. This is where I’ll get down."
Girl: "Is this your house?"
Karna: "No, my house is the third one on this street. It’s small, but nice. Thanks for the ride. Take care on your way back."
Girl: "What time do you leave for the office tomorrow?"
Karna: "I usually leave at 8 in the morning."
Girl: "Okay then, see you."
Karna: "Thanks again."
As she leaves, Karna talks to himself, regretting not asking her name and wondering if he’ll see her again.
The next day, the same girl shows up near his house.
Karna is surprised. "You? What are you doing here?"
Girl: "Last night you said you leave at 8 AM. I thought I’d drop you to work."
Karna: "I only came with you yesterday because there were no buses. Today I’ll take the bus."
Girl: "I’m going your route anyway. Don’t worry, I’ll drop you."
Karna: "Looks like you won’t take no for an answer. Let’s go then."
At his office...
Girl: "When do you finish work?"
Karna: "At 7. You still haven’t told me your name."
Girl: "Come to the coffee shop in the evening. I’ll tell you there. What’s your phone number?"
Karna gives her his number. She leaves.
Evening, at the coffee shop...
Girl: "So, were you working today, or thinking about why a girl gave you a lift?"
Karna: "You asked me to come here, so I didn’t think much. But now I do want to know who are you?"
Girl: "Let’s drink coffee first. Get me one, and we’ll talk."
Karna brings coffee...
Karna: "Here’s your coffee. Will you tell me now who are you?"
Girl: "My parents want me to get married."
Karna: "Okay, and why did you give me a lift?"
Girl: "Listen fully before reacting. My father’s friend brought a match and gave a photo of the boy. My dad showed me the photo and asked me to think about it. The boy in the photo... is you."
Karna: "What?!"
Girl: "My dad’s friend is also a friend of your dad. He said you’re a good guy. So, I wanted to know more about you that’s why I gave you a lift."
Karna: "How did you know I was at the bus stop?"
Girl: "I saw you there while returning from a friend’s house. So, I took the chance to approach you."
Karna: "So, what did you find out about me?"
Girl: "We’ve only just met. Let’s know more about each other. If everything feels right after a couple of months, let’s get married."
Karna: "Thanks. I have a few things I want to accomplish before marriage."
Girl: "Then let’s be friends for a while. If we feel we’re right for each other, we’ll tell our parents."
Karna: "You’re telling me everything, but not your name."
Girl: "My name is Vrushali. I work as a TV reporter. It’s getting late, should I drop you or will you take the bus?"
Karna: "You just called me a friend now you want to leave me halfway? I’m coming with you."
Three months pass.
One night, someone quietly enters Vrushali’s room. A sound wakes her up. The person lights a lamp it's Karna and it’s Vrushali’s birthday.
Karna wishes her and expresses his love. Vrushali happily hugs him and confesses her love too.
They tell their families, and their wedding is fixed.
Ten days before the wedding, Vrushali leaves for Mumbai on office work.
At the railway station...
Karna: "Is it necessary to go to Mumbai now? The wedding is just ten days away."
Vrushali: "That’s how TV reporting is. Don’t worry, I’ll be back in time."
Karna: "Then I’ll come with you, sweetheart."
Vrushali: "No need baby, I’ll finish my work and come back."
Karna: "Okay, be safe. Call me when you reach. I’ll be waiting for your call."
Vrushali: "I’ll call, don’t worry. I miss you".
Karna:- Miss you too!
Three days pass. Karna gets a call from a Mumbai hospital.
Caller: "We’re calling from a hospital. A girl met with an accident and had this number on her. Please come quickly."
Karna: "How is she now?"
Caller: "Please come, you’ll know everything here."
Karna informs Vrushali’s father. They both leave for Mumbai.
At the hospital…
Karna: "You called saying a girl had an accident. Where is she?"
The nurse takes him to the mortuary.
Karna: "Why are we going to the mortuary?"
Nurse: "She died in the accident."
Vrushali’s father faints. Karna is stunned.
Nurse: "We got a call last night about the accident. She was already dead by the time we reached. Her bag was empty, but her bracelet had your number on it."
Karna recalls the bracelet day:
Vrushali: "Can I show you on thing."
Karna: "What, darling?"
Vrushali: "See this bracelet on my hand? Look closely."
Karna: "Hey! It's my phone number on bracelet? Why did you put that there?"
Vrushali: "If anything happens to me when you’re not around, someone can call you. You’ll come for me, won’t you?"
Karna: "Of course, I will. But where would you go, leaving me?"
Vrushali: "I’ll never leave. I’ll always be with you."
Back in the present...
Vrushali’s body is brought home. The rituals are performed. Karna becomes lonely. He stops going to work.
A month later, Karna receives a message: "Vrushali’s death wasn’t an accident. She was murdered. If you want to know who did it, come to the Café Coffee Shop at 10 AM tomorrow."
Next day…
Karna goes to the café. A staff member sends him upstairs. A girl sits alone at a table.
Karna: "Did you send the message?"
Girl: "Yes, Karna. Sit down."
Karna: "Who are you? What happened to Vrushali?"
Girl: "My name is Prasiddha. I worked with Vrushali in the same office. She went to Mumbai for a case. She had a important information with her. That’s why she was killed."
Karna: "Who killed her?"
Prasiddha: His name is Ashok Raka. Five years ago, he was a notorious rowdy now he's an MLA.
To become an MLA, he committed many brutal acts. He didn’t spare anyone who came in his way whether children or elders.
Now, using his political power, he has joined hands with foreign drug dealers and is trafficking narcotics for money. He has turned many people into addicts with his drugs.
For the past six months, Vrushali had been gathering information about him. She found out that drugs were coming from foreign countries and being transported to his base in Mumbai.
To get the video evidence she gone to Mumbai and get Ashok Raka arrested by the police.
After reaching Mumbai, she went to his base and recorded everything on video.
At that moment, she sent me a voice message:
“I’ve recorded a video of his illegal activities and also captured the foreigners he is collaborating with. Someone saw me while I was filming. I managed to escape and send you this message. But I don't think I can escape any further. I know they will kill me. I’ve hidden the camera here. Please take it and hand it over to the police.”
Later, I found out that you had gone to Mumbai. I got your number from the hospital and sent you the message.
I have all the information Vrushali collected. If we get that video, we can ensure Ashok Raka is punished. Vrushali also mentioned in her message where she hide the camera.
If we go there, we can retrieve it. She told me how deeply she loved you. You deserve to know the truth. I sent you this message so you can bring justice for her death and protect the truth.
Thinking of Vrushali, Karna is overcome with sorrow.
Karna and Prasiddha go to Ashok Raka’s base in Mumbai. While searching for the video, Ashok Raka’s men spot them and capture both of them.
They call Ashok Raka and inform him. He comes to Mumbai and says:
Ashok Raka: "Give me the information you collected about me, and I’ll let you go."
Karna: "I came here willingly. You killed my Vrushali I will not leave you."
Ashok Raka: "Oh, so you came for that girl? Poor thing she never agreed to give me the information even after I tortured her for two days. She didn’t say a word. We finally killed her and dumped her body on the road, then filed it as an accident."
Hearing those words, Karna charges at Ashok Raka to hit him. A fight breaks out between Karna and Ashok Raka. During the fight, police arrive and stop them. Police arrest Ashok Raka and his gang.
Before going to the Ashok Raka place, Karna had informed the police commissioner about everything. According to the plan, in the middle of the fight, Prasiddha calls the police.
The police, waiting two kilometers away, rush in after her call.
Thus, Ashok Raka is arrested, and using the evidence Vrushali collected, he is punished, bringing justice to her death.
Karna, still lost in Vrushali’s memory, continues to live his life, quietly fulfilling his responsibilities.
The End....
