A Dream Come True - Chapter 2: The Girl in the Bus
The days in Sai’s life where the feeling called happiness had almost disappeared…
But… after getting onto the bus every morning to go to the office… a small smile started appearing on his face.
The reason…A girl.
Same route… Same bus… Almost the same timing…
When he saw her for the first time, Sai did not pay much attention.
As the days slowly passed… seeing her every day became a beautiful part of Sai’s routine.
That girl was simple and graceful. Just like a traditional Telugu girl… Simple but beautiful…
Wearing earphones and lost in her songs… Sometimes busy on phone calls…Sometimes smiling softly while looking outside the window…
When every time Sai noticed that smile… the stress in his heart quietly faded away.
In the crowded morning bus… while everyone is busy with their own problems…
Sai silently looks at her while listening to songs.
Office pressure… Targets… Family tension… Loneliness…
Sai forgets all these, at least for a few minutes.
He does not know that girl’s name… He does not know where she works… He does not even know whether she is in a relationship or not…
But…
Her presence became like a small light in Sai’s dull life.
One day like that…
Sitting near the bus window, looking at the rain… while listening to songs…
Sai silently thinks in his heart:
- This girl should come into my life…
- She should talk to me…
- She should understand me…
- We both should live like a happy family…
In that imagination…For the first time, Sai imagines his future happily.

Sai lies on the bed… staring at the ceiling… thinking only about that girl.
Her smile… Her eyes… Her calm expressions in the bus…
All these keep repeating in Sai’s mind.
“It would be nice if I could talk to her at least once…”
Thinking that with a smile, he falls asleep.
