A Dream Come True - # Chapter 9: Becoming Closer
After returning to Hyderabad… Life slowly goes back onto the normal track. Morning office… Targets… Meetings… Traffic…Both becomes busy in their own work.
But…This time, Sai’s life does not feel dull.
Because…Now Saranya is in Sai’s life.
One night…Saranya suddenly receives a message on her phone.
“Are you free this weekend…? Shall we meet…?” Sai asks.
Seeing that message…An automatic smile appears on Saranya’s face.
She replies, “Okay...”
Weekend…
Sai plans a movie outing. Both of them go to the theatre together.
Even after the movie starts…Their attention stays more on each other than on the screen.
Laughing together during funny scenes… Silently looking at each other during emotional scenes… Those small moments bring them even closer.
After the movie…They go to a nearby themed restaurant. The restaurant looks colorful with a huge crowd.
Just then, the host takes the mic and announces:
“Tonight’s special couple competition! Winners will get surprize gift!”
All the couples participate excitedly. Sai and Saranya look at each other once.
Technically… They are not a couple.
But…Sai smiles and asks, “Shall we try…?”
Saranya also smiles and says, “Okay…”
The competition starts. The questions are simple…
- What is your partner’s favorite food?
- What is their biggest fear?
- What is their happy place?
- When do they smile the most?
Even real couples… husbands and wives… Fail to answer some questions.
But…Sai and Saranya answer almost everything correctly.
Because…They remembered every small detail they spoke about with all their heart.
As soon as the final round ends…The host excitedly announces:
“And tonight’s winners… Sainath and Saranya!”
The entire restaurant fills with claps. Sai and Saranya smile in shock.
More than the prize… That moment feels special to them.
Standing on the stage…They silently smile while looking at each other.
In those eyes… There is a connection deeper than words.
After that competition… Their bond becomes even stronger.
Phone calls… Late-night conversations… Weekend meetings… Random coffee dates… Bus journeys…
Life starts filling with happy memories. Now Sai wakes up every morning with excitement. If he does not hear Saranya’s voice, his day feels incomplete.
For Saranya too… Without talking to Sai, she feels no peace.
Slowly… Both of them become necessities in each other’s lives.
But…In every true love story…When happiness increases too much…Life starts giving unexpected turns…
